VETERINARY SURGEONS

Marie Arkell BVetMed MRCVS

Marie ArkellMarie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College.

She has worked in the Mid Sussex area for her entire career and opened her own clinic in 2009.

Marie enjoys all aspects of Veterinary medicine but has a special interest in endoscopy, keyhole and soft tissue surgery as well as feline geriatric medicine.

In her spare time she enjoys looking after her own pets: a dog called Pip and a cat called Wilf.

Alison Bennett MA VetMB BSc MRCVS

Alison graduated from Cambridge. She has worked in the local area for many years.

She started working at Mid Sussex Veterinary Clinic in 2017 and has an interest in Cardiology.

She owns a cat called Eddie

Sue Knighton BVetmed MRCVS

Sue graduated from the Royal Veterinary College.

She has worked at Mid Sussex Veterinary Clinic for many years on a part time basis.

Sue owns Chickens which provide the staff with lots of lovely fresh eggs!

In her spare time she looks after her two children.

Wendy qualified in 1999.

She has worked in many areas of Veterinary Nursing including emergency medicine and orthopaedic referrals.
She started working at Mid Sussex Veterinary Clinic in August 2011.

In her spare time she looks after her own pets: Hattie and Jax, both Border Collies, Mr.Twix, a cross-breed and Lenny a three legged cat!

Lottie Newman-Smith RVN
REGISTERED VETERINARY NURSElottie

Lottie qualified in 1996.

She has worked at Mid Sussex Veterinary Clinic as a locum Veterinary Nurse for many years and became a permanent member of staff in May 2016.

She has worked in many areas of Veterinary Nursing including emergency medicine.

In her spare time she looks after her young family and Kevin, her black and white cat!

Michelle Ward RVN

Michelle qualified in 2003

She started working at Mid Sussex Veterinary Clinic in August 2016.
She has worked in East and West Sussex and she has taught Veterinary Nursing for the last 9 years.

In her spare time she looks after her 8 dogs Razzle, Merlin, Bill, Brock, Pip, Tyke, Minx and Chico which all compete at dog agility.

Julie qualified in 1999.

She started working at Mid Sussex Veterinary Clinic in May 2016.
Julie has gained experience within the Veterinary Industry since qualification, working in practice and for a Veterinary Pharmaceutical Company.

In her spare time she enjoys skiing, holidays and spending time with her family and friends.
